Big Brother

Oh my goodness - I have neglected this blog. First of all let me just say that Grayson is so grown up. Besides the occasional fit throwing and the fact that I still make him drink from a sippy cup he is all grown up(or so it seems). He has such imagination and anyone who says that kids aren't watching your every move, doesn't have kids!!! He'll be playing with something and declare that "I am daddy" or "I am Poppa" and he will reinact something that has happened - maybe not even recently - some of it happened last summer!!! One of his favorites right now is to put me or Casey to bed and make us go night-night! He tells us that "you're a big boy, you go night-night by yourself." I suppose he's heard that a time or two. Still loves playing with his tools(although he prefers the real thing). He is very hands on. He has a toy airplane that you take apart with a drill and you have to change out drill bits - he can take it apart and put it together with no problems. I think he is kin to his Poppa. And he knows some stuff that is kinda scary too - he can put the car key in the ignition and start the car - YIKES! He can unlock a lock with a key - YIKES! And he can open all gates - YIKES! He is sooo ready for it to be warm enough to play outside. He is so bored with his toys inside he doesn't even hardly play with them anymore. We are going to Sesame Street Live tomorrow with our friends so I should have some pics to post.
I guess the biggest news that we have to share is that Grayson is going to be a big brother! I am almost 13 weeks along. We decided to wait to share the news in light of our past experience. We have had 2 ultrasounds and so far everything looks great. Due date is September 20th. Grayson asks about it some but we haven't really talked to him about it much. He had a lot of questions after last time and we just thought it best to not get him involved quite so early. So I will hopefully not get so far behind again. I'm sure I could write a ton of more stuff but I'll just do better next time!!!
